The stories in this year’s

Power of Giving

make one thing clear; your gifts

have a very real anddirect impact on the lives of our patients and the

community. With your help, we accomplished somuch.

Our oncology patients rely on us for cutting edge care and also receive

extra support from innovative programs likeCampOasis, and help to

pay for genetic counseling andmedications for our breast cancer

patients that insurance doesn’t cover. Our moms-to-be get extra help

with innovative prenatal education programsmade possible by a

generous gift to Virtua’s Center forWomen in Lumberton. Philanthropy

also allows us to continue to serve as a beacon of hope and healing for

our families inCamden. Our Joint Replacement Institute is at the

forefront of hip and knee replacements with innovative therapies that

are getting recognition nationwide through research studies. Research

that is only happening because of support from individuals like you.

As wework to continuallymeet the needs of our families, we are very

excited about plans for the future that will bringmore needed services

to the community. Enjoy a sneak peak in the pages that follow.

I want to personally thank you for your steadfast support of Virtua

Foundation. Philanthropymakes all of this

happen.We

cannot do it

without you. Thank you for all you do for Virtua andVirtua Foundation.

With gratitude,

Christina Mattison
