Expectant mothers are usually excited, but they’re also confused about

the changes their bodies are going through, and concerned about the

health of their baby—and of coursewhat will happen after they’re born.

Prenatal education can help relieve some of that stress and anxiety and

answer Mom’smany questions, but not everyone has access to good

information or can take advantage of it. Thanks to theHaines Family

Foundation’s generous support, the Virtua Center forWomen in

Lumberton ismaking it easier than ever for BurlingtonCountymothers

who need this guidance to get it. They are not alone.

TheHaines Family Foundationmade a $100,000 gift to support

childbirth education programs for women patients at the center in

Lumberton, many of whomhave significant financial needs, are

underinsured, or have no insurance at all.
