Program (CRP)

urban center municipalities – 15 Boroughs
and the City of Coatesville.
Through a competitive application
process, Chester County, through
the Department of Community
Development, annually awards
approximately
$2.5 million
in local
grant funding to these municipalities for
a variety of capital construction projects.
Since 2002, Chester County has invested
more than
$54 million
of federal Community
Development Block Grant funds and Chester
County CRP funds in public infrastructure
improvement projects within its 16 urban centers.
